This young Perechlest son , with his distinctive markings and dynamic uphill movements is sure to be a show stopper! Both the dam and sire lines are packed with performance lines!  “Perry” has ‘classic’ Trakehner type, which can best be described as ‘aristocratic.’  He has a large, kind eye, and noble expression.  His movements are elastic, gaits ground-covering.  During his approvals he demonstrated not only good jumping technique, but was thoughtful and clever when going through the chute.  Under saddle he has been a willing learner with a solid work ethic, even during the breeding season.  He has always been described as a ‘gentleman’ and is very easy to handle.  2015 brought his first foal crop, and he is proving to stamp with good neck set, lots of ‘chrome’, and good temperament, and considerable athleticism.

This Perechlest son made it to the final ring at the Tarnstedt foal championship. He scored 9/8/8/8.5/8.5/8.5/8.5.

In 2013 FEINER PRINZ was approved by the American Trakehner Association.  Comments at his inspection:  ‘Feiner Prinz is an impressive Trakehner stallion with very good, modern sport horse type.  He displays good character, intelligence, and athleticism.  Both the trot and the canter are fairly good with good flexion of joints and good activity of the hindquarters.  He covers ground well but his canter at times could be more uphill.  He is a very good jumper with very good technique as well as much scope, willingness, and heart.”

In 2014 FEINER PRINZ was approved for Oldenburg N.A./ISR with a total of 230 points.

The dam side of Feiner Prinz’s pedigree is also interesting from a breeder’s standpoint–Dam is half brother to Fleur Rouge, the M level show jumper. The second dam produced the S-level show jumpers FLAMBEAU, LARISSA,and FABIENNE, as well as the approved stallion FINEST PRINTS.  His dam’s sire is the stallion CORNUS, a successful show jumper sired by the elite stallion RAVEL (success in showing to S- level dressage and L jumping.)
